Roche Associates is a well established specialist property tax consultancy managed by Director, Paul Munday.

Paul is a dual qualified RICS Chartered surveyor and ATT tax specialist.

The practice has over 25 years property tax experience that spans global accountancy practices to national cost consultancies and niche and independent advisory businesses.

Paul Munday

Paul has worked on some of the UK’s largest projects including the new Wembley stadium, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and QinetiQ’s part
privatisation acquisition of the Defence Evaluation Research Agency.

Paul has very broad experience across all aspects of the property market and is particularly skilled in acquisition strategy. He has also
specialised in advising on remediation relief, and is one of the UK’s leading experts in this area.

Paul set up Roche Associates with fellow colleague from KPMG, Saira Puffett back in 2006 following several years as tax partner at EC Harris Property Consultancy. Previously, he worked for KPMG, having started his career with Deloitte & Touche’s property tax team where he gained his ATT qualifications.

Owen Munday

Owen joined the business fully in 2025 during and subsequent to his Financial Economics Masters at the University of Sheffield. Owen’s former experience as a Sector Head in the Griff Investment Fund at the University York, whilst interrogating company data, formulating potential investment views,and reporting on and formulating investment pitches has stood him in good stead to jump into the world of property tax relief.

Whilst embarking on a structured 12 month training plan, Owen has also worked on a variety of specific projects including evaluating large data sets on an £100m complex railway retail conversion, a £40m sales pack review on a London property’s multi-faceted refurbishment project and a £22m light industrial new build jewellery manufacture facility.
